【2026年度 秋学期 講座案内】
In this course, we will read selected thought-provoking short stories and think about why they are important and relevant to our lives. Stories include selection from Greek and Chinese philosophy, the Bible, as well as contemporary writers and thinkers. All reading materials are short and available in English translation, and students are encouraged to participate in group discussions in class. Basic English is fine, and students are encouraged to challenge themselves to think and share in English as much as possible. This is a course for students to polish their reading, thinking, and communication skills in English. The course content differs between the spring and fall semesters. Since the courses are not designed to be taken sequentially, we welcome students to enroll starting in the fall semester.
春学期と秋学期の講義内容は異なります。連続性のある講座内容ではありませんので、秋学期からの受講も歓迎いたします。
